Twiga Ventures is a company in Uganda, specialized in creating impact on Malaria disease. Asking ourselves the question why mosquito nets are only used for 6 to 9 months and after that misused as fishing-net, wedding dress or chicken-house, we decided to put added value to a net. So we developed the “printed net”, a net with a beautiful picture on it, so people want to have this net. Our nets, both treated and non-treated nets, are meant to keep beds free of nuisance insects like mosquitos’s and harmful creatures such as scorpions, millipedes, spiders and snakes. Hence, the mosquito net enables a good night sleep and protects against potentially harmful disease and discomfort and through the beautiful decoration will stay the average lifetime of 3 years on a bed.
